FIELD: investigating or analyzing materials.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises housing with setting and bearing surfaces, mechanism for cutting having cutting members secured to the housing, gripping mechanism, locking mechanism, and reverse axial compression spring. The housing is hollow and, in the axial vertical direction, is defined by the ribs of the truncated polyhedral pyramid whose smaller setting base is at the bottom. The large bearing base in the top section of the housing is provided with the load-bearing flange. The load-bearing flange has bearing surface with the through axial opening made in block with the stiffening ribs mating with the ribs of the bearing base that has guiding members for permitting them to cooperate with the vertical axial grooves of the wedge-shaped cutting members. The sides of the vertical axial guiding grooves have parallel section and wedge-shaped section arranged below the load-bearing flange and parallel section. The top part of the cutting members are made for permitting interaction with the guiding members made on the inner surface of the stop lid. The locking mechanism has control push button mounted in the through axial opening in the stop lid. The inner side of the stop lid is provided with cantilevers whose free ends pivotally connected with the grips spring-loaded one to the other for permitting simultaneous cooperation with the conical tip and bottom surface of the load-bearing flange of the housing.
