FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating osteochondropathy of tibial tuberosity - Osgood-Schlatter disease. One should apply osteoperforations in area of tibial tuberosity for the depth of 5-15 mm due to radiation of diode infrared laser in impulse-periodic mode at average power of 18-22 W with a wave guide of up to 0.6 mm diameter percutaneously in area of tuberosity out of 5-6 points. Also, one should apply osteoperforations in 2 points from each side from tuberosity at proximal tibial metaphysis for the depth of 5-10 mm against tibial surface. The innovation enables to provide low-traumatic decompression of affected tibial department and efficient stimulation of the process of bony tissue regeneration.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
