FIELD: analytical chemistry; medicine for determination of concentration of hydrochloride spirapryl in blood which is inhibitor of angiotensin-converting enzyme.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preliminary concentration of agent during 240 s at electrolysis potential of (-1.70) V; gold electrode is used as working electrode; then registration of polarized curves is made at DC scanning of potential at rate of 25 mV/s; concentration of hydrochloride spirapryl is determined at peak height within potentials of (-0.40) to (-0.10) V relative to silver chloride electrode at 0.05 mole/l of potassium chloride solution prepared with 0.015 mole/l of sodium hydrocarbonate solution.

EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity and rapidness.
