FIELD: electrical communications; adaptive control of signal peak factor.
SUBSTANCE: each modulating character is adaptively controlled to minimize envelope peaks (PAPR); reference signals are generated and peak power is optimally controlled through subcarriers; output OFDM character is interpolated beyond base band; then optimal control is effected for all data and beyond-the-band subcarriers which are then subjected to digital filtration in frequency region, transformed by means of digital backward Fourier transformation into time readings, and the latter are then used for generating reference signals and optimal controls according to mixed RMS criterion thereby minimizing peak factor and modulating-character distortions at a time.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of control.
