FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for grinding materials in which grinding is provided by collision of parts of material and they can be used for grinding fragments of worn out tires to get powder including rubber crump, particles of metal and cord fiber which are subsequently separated from each other. Proposed device for grinding elastic materials with metal inclusions, mainly, fragments of worn out tires, has housing, cylindrical grinding chamber, charging hopper to feed material to ground into grinding chamber, union to let ground material from grinding chamber. Grinding members made in form of solids of revolution are arranged coaxially one over the other and are mechanically coupled with drives. Grinding members are essentially two concentrically arranged rings interconnected by curvilinear spokes in bodies of which electromagnetic coils supplied with electric current are arranged. Inner rings of part of grinding members are secured on drive shaft installed along axis of grinding chamber, and inner rings of other part of grinding members alternate with grinding members of first part of height of grinding chamber, and they form ring clearance with drive shaft installed along axis of chamber. Outer rings of grinding members are connected by eyes with centering rods arranged from outer side of rings and connected with hollow drive shaft enclosing drive shaft installed along axis of chamber.
EFFECT: provision of complete separation of rubber crump from particles of metal and cord fiber.
