FIELD: analytical chemistry, chromatographic methods for researching gaseous mixtures, containing organic components.
SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation and serial letting of calibrating and analyzed mixtures through chromatographic column with inertial adsorbent, previously treated with inhibiting agent. As inertial adsorbent, adsorbent from a group of diatomite carriers is utilized, and as inhibiting agent - hexamethyldisilazane. On basis of value of detector signal, proportional to total content of organic components in gas sample, total content of organic components is determined in mixture being analyzed with consideration of calibrating coefficient. Coefficient is determined on basis of signal of total content of organic components in calibrating mixtures converted to carbon.
EFFECT: increased precision of detection.
