SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the study or analysis of materials by determining their chemical or physical properties, and can be used in quality control laboratories of petroleum products supply enterprises. When water immiscibility is detected, an analyzed sample of ice proof liquid based on ethyl cellosolve (EC) is injected into a chromatograph injector with a flame ionization detector and under conditions of programmable heating of a thermostat by a capillary chromatographic column with a non-polar stationary liquid phase, 100 % dimethylpolysiloxane carry out the separation of the components of fuels for jet engines (TRD) and ice proof liquid. Presence on the chromatogram of the sample peaks in the range of retention time values from 17.5 to 32.0 min, characteristic for TRD, concludes that jet engine fuels are present in the ice proof liquid sample; the quantitative content of TRD is determined according to the previously constructed calibration curve of the dependence of the total area of chromatographic peaks related to the components of fuels, on the concentration of fuels in the ice proof liquid. Method allows to determine the impurity TRD in a concentration of more than 0.5 % vol.

EFFECT: expansion of the list of detectable impurities in ice proof liquid on the basis of EC and the creation of the possibility of determining the content of TRD impurities in a concentration of more than ½ % vol.
