FIELD: radio engineering; waveguide systems; microwave receiver heterodynes and transmitter exciters.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed for suppressing weak signals in vicinity of strong-signal (carrier) frequency is essentially bridge circuit that has input directional coupler functioning as power splitter and output directional coupler operating as adder. Inserted in first arm of bridge circuit is resonant nonlinear phase shifter using magnetostatic waves and used to ensure approximately 90 deg. phase shift between weak and strong signals; inserted in second arm are variable attenuator and variable phase inverter affording phase shift through 180 deg. Microstrip coupling members can be shifted relative to longitudinal axis of microstrip resonator in resonant nonlinear phase shifter using magnetostatic waves.
EFFECT: enhanced suppression of weak signal relative to strong one at comparatively low frequency tuning-out between them.
