FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the radio engineering. Microwave signal coupler on magnetostatic waves contains a substrate of gallium-gadolinium garnet with two microwave generators placed on it with a gap in the form of parallel elongated strips of equal width from iron-yttrium garnet films (YIG). Besides, it comprises antenna for excitation of magnetostatic waves and antenna for reception of magnetostatic waves arranged at opposite ends of both microwave guides. Control elements comprise a constant magnetic field source configured to change the value and polarity of the magnetic field, and a magnetically sensitive element for changing the connection between the microwave guides, which is in form of a platform from a solid metal film placed over the YIG strips and overlapping both strips and the gap between them. Platform is in magnetic coupling with said source of magnetic field, and the size of the platform along the length is not less than 0.5 of the length of the strips.
EFFECT: technical result is control of frequency range of division and width of frequency band by changing parameters of external magnetic field.
