FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: area of trabecula is subject to influence of Nd-YAG laser radiation in the corner of front chamber at level of Schlemm's channel. Length of wave of laser radiation equals to 1064 nanometers and its power is 0,9-1,5 mJ. Diameter of spot equals to 10-15 mcm. Number of pulses, applied along whole circle at equal distance from each other, is equal to 40-50. Evacuation of deposits of extra-cellular fine-dispersed material is provided from intra-trabecula slits due to mechanical movement as pigment and other deposits within filtration area to stabilize pressure in eye.
EFFECT: stabilized eye pressure.
