FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: to decrease mass of tower and provide stability to wind gusts proposed windmill electric generating plant containing tower, windwheel with horizontal axle, step-up gear, generator and slewing base, tower is made up of rods assembled in form of right-angle triangles with common hypotenuse and legs, legs being sides of two isosceles triangles with common base, connecting vertices of right angles, first of which is made horizontal. Bearing unit with shaft of windwheel and drive member of step-up gear is installed in vertex connecting equal sides of second isosceles triangle. First bearing unit of horizontal shaft is installed in middle of base of isosceles triangles. Second bearing unit of horizontal shaft is installed in vertex connecting equal sides of horizontal isosceles triangle. First end of horizontal shaft is provided with driven member of step-up gear connected by flexible tie with drive member. Second end of horizontal shaft is connected with generator, and horizontal isosceles triangle is arranged on slewing base.
EFFECT: improved reliability in operation.
