FIELD: abrasive working systems, possibly manufacture of wheels for grinding hard-to-work high hardness materials.
SUBSTANCE: wheel is made of different fraction abrasive mass. In main abrasive mass with grains of the same fraction size there are rods placed in radial direction and made of abrasive of the main abrasive mass with addition of abrasive mass having larger size of grains and higher hardness. Said rods are arranged in such a way that to form along circle periphery closed symmetrical sine curve with constant amplitude or sine curves with maximum amplitude in its center and with minimum amplitudes in edge zones in alternating sectors.
EFFECT: improved deign of wheel providing increased time period of wheel strength between dressing operations due to its lowered oiling, enhanced quality parameters of surface layer of ground parts, lowered number of burnings.
