FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: grinding wheel is made of nonconductive abrasion material and comprises conducting members at the faces and additional conducting members radially arranged in the nonconductive abrasive material. The additional conducting members are made of rods diverging from the center and provided with abrasive with pig iron and reinforced with the electrodes connected with the conducting members at the faces of the grinding wheel. The hardness of the abrasion of the rods is greater than that of the abrasion of the nonconductive material.

EFFECT: enhanced quality of the grinding wheel.
