FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed transmission of automobile includes engine and power train. Power train is essentially cross rotor 2. Left-hand and right-hand parts of rotor are rounded by symmetrical closed elliptical slots 5, 6 of semiround section. Rotor is concentrically enclosed by two hubs 7 and 8 provided with semiround slots over generating surface of seat holes to engage with elliptical slots through balls. Extreme axial developments 11 and 12 of hubs are drive shaft of driving wheels. Two gears 13 and 14 found in middle part of rotor 2 are designed for connection with engine and provision of reverse movement.
EFFECT: reduced power losses, enlarged range of selective capabilities of automatic speed mode, increased cross-country capability of automobile and improved comfort in steering.
