FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed automatic variable-speed drive has housing 1, two concentric hubs 4, 7, inner hub 4 being made in form of base ball enclosed in diametric plane by round slot 5 of semiround section. Inner hub 4 is hinge-mounted on pin 3 rigidly secured on drive shaft 2 and it is in one plane with round slot 5 of semiround section. Point of rectangular intersection of axes of pin 3 and shaft 2 is center of sphere for both hubs. Plane of round slot 5 can be at different angle of tilting relative to axis of drive shaft 2, depending on load. Outer hub 7 has arc-shaped slots 8 of semiround section whose planes of arrangement coincide with axis of drive shaft 2. Both hubs are mechanically intercoupled by balls 9. Axial development of outer hub 7 is load shaft 1q0 mated with drive shaft 2 by means of bearing 11.
EFFECT: enlarged ranges of selective capability, longevity and economy.
