FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method is based upon measurement of readings of calibrated and reference temperature detectors and upon comparison of the temperatures. Before making measurements, surface of tube is coated with heat insulation at immediate vicinity to detector to be calibrated. As reference detector the temperature detector is used, which is disposed onto surface of tube under layer of heat insulation.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of calibration procedure.
