FIELD: medicine, diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: one should carry out ultrasound evaluation of the diameter of brachial artery, the rate of circulation, and, also, a peak systolic rate of circulation along it both before and after carrying out samplings with hyperemia and hyperventilation (SHV). Then one should calculate coefficients of endothelial sensitivity on the 5th min to calculate the index of endothelial sensitivity by the following formula: IES, conditional units = C (SHV)/C (SRH), where C (SHV) - coefficient of endothelial sensitivity to shift's tension by taking into account shift tension and alteration of brachial artery diameter obtained on the 5th min at sampling with hyperventilation. C (SRH) - coefficient of endothelial sensitivity to shift tension at taking into account shift tension during the first seconds and alteration of brachial artery diameter obtained on the 75th sec of reactive hyperemia at IES < - 1.89 one should detect low endothelial sensitivity. The innovation enables to increase information value and widen field of application.
