FIELD: medicine, diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: one should measure the diameter of supraduodenal department of common bile duct D1, the diameter of intrapancreatic department of common bile duct D2 to calculate the index of choledochus evacuation I by the following formula: I=D2/D1, moreover, it is necessary to calculate initial I1 followed by pharmacological sampling due to intravenous injecting 2 ml metoclopramide and in 45 and 120 min one should repeat ultrasound scanning according to the above-mentioned algorithm at calculating the indices of choledochus evacuation I2 and I1, correspondingly. At values I1, I2 and I3<1.0 one should detect normal state of biliary system, at values I1<1.0, I2>1.0, I3<1.0 one should detect dysfunction of Oddi's sphincter, at values I1<1.0, I2 and I3>1.0 - stenosis of major papilla duodeni of degree I, at values I1, I2 and I3>1.0 - stenosis of major papilla duodeni of degree II-III. The innovation enables to increase information value in evaluating functional state of biliary system in patients after cholecystectomy.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
