SUBSTANCE: it is important to carry out contrasting the upper departments of gastro-intestinal tract followed by registering the entering of contrast substance out of duodenum into the lumen of the main pancreatic duct. Before contrasting the upper departments of gastrointestinal tract in the course of ultrasound testing in a patient being in horizontal back position one should scan a longitudinal section of the main pancreatic duct at evaluating initial echogenicity of its content. After the onset of evacuation of contrast substance out of the stomach into duodenum it is necessary to transfer a patient for Trendelenburg's position and right side position for 10 min. Then the patient should be returned into initial position to conduct repeated ultrasound scanning of longitudinal section of the main pancreatic duct at evaluating the chogenicity of its content. In case of increased echogenicity of the content in the lumen of the main pancreatic duct against initial state - one should detect the availability of duodenopancreatic reflux. In case of no increase in echogenicity of the content in the lumen of the main pancreatic duct against initial state - one should detect the absence of duodenopancreatic reflux. The innovation enables to diagnose the value of the method for testing in case of diseases of hepatopancreatoduodenal organs.
