FIELD: medicine, obstetrics.
SUBSTANCE: in fetus one should detect with ultrasound technique maximal volume of the bladder, the volume of residual urine after urination act. If the volume of residual urine corresponds to 30% and more against maximal volume of the bladder it is possible to predict the presence of urinary infection in neonatals. Application of the present method enables to predict the presence of urinary infection in early neonatal period for forming the group of risk among neonatals on the development of urinary infection.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.
