FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly powder fire-extinguishing modules used as self-triggered units or units activated by external signal and included in different fixed fire-extinguishing systems, as well as fixed fire-extinguishing systems having above modules.
SUBSTANCE: module comprises body filled with fire-extinguishant and provided with fastening members, as well as gas generation means at least partly arranged inside the body and at least one pair of heat-sensitive members located outside the body. The first heat-sensitive member is adapted to control pre-threshold temperature factor of fire, the second one is used to control threshold temperature factor of fire. Module also comprises control and alarm system linked to heat-sensitive members and gas generator. The control and alarm system comprises at least one ready unit and two triggering mode units. The first heat-sensitive member is connected to ready unit input and may generate ready signal. Ready unit output is linked to inputs of the first and the second triggering mode units. The second heat-sensitive member is connected to the first triggering unit input to generate triggering signal, which is common with ready signal. Outputs of the first and the second triggering mode units are linked to gas generation means to transmit triggering signal to the gas generation means. Automatic fire-extinguishing system is created by above modules distributed over object to be protected. The modules are connected with each other so that each module is associated with other ones by connecting the first triggering mode unit output of the first module with the second triggering mode unit inputs of adjacent modules.
EFFECT: increased ability of fire-extinguishment, possibility to estimate fire site dimensions, reduced number of false module and system operations, and, as a result, reduced property damage, possibility to use the system in rooms having false ceilings and to conceal the modules inside room.
