FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves sequentially introducing radiopaque substance under X-ray control in the amount equal to urinary bladder volume determined in conformance with age-specific reference values. Then urinary bladder X-ray examination is carried out. The urinary bladder is filled in fractional way. First, 50% of physiologic urinary bladder volume is filled. Radiopaque substance arising in ureter being detected, and its rising height is to be determined. Then, 90% of physiologic urinary bladder volume is filled. The radiopaque substance rising height being found unchanged, I degree vesicoureteral reflux is to be diagnosed if the substance has risen to pelvic cystoid level. The radiopaque substance being risen to L5 vertebra level, II degree vesicoureteral reflux is to be diagnosed.
EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis.
