SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pediatric urology, and can be used to predict the results of treatment of vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) in children. A modified voiding cystography is performed, the time of reflux occurrence is determined. Video recording is carried out for the first time when the bladder is filled with a contrast solution at 33% of the physiological volume, for the second — at 66%, and for the third — at 100%. Record the time of micturition and complete emptying of the bladder. The ratio of the diameter of the distal ureter (mm) to the distance from the lower part of the L1 vertebral body to the upper part of the L3 vertebral body (mm) is calculated. With passive reflux that occurs at 33% filling of the bladder volume, the value of the obtained ratio of 0.6 or more determines an unfavorable prognosis for endoscopic correction of VUR in children.

EFFECT: method allows to accurately predict and improve the results of treatment of VUR in children by evaluating the complex of the most significant parameters.
