FIELD: analytical methods in agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: wheat germ extract, obtained by grinding wheat germs to particle size 0.01-1.00 mm, is mixed for 30 min with phosphate buffer, pH 7.5, at ratio 1:10, after which wheat germ filtrate is separated by centrifugation for 20 min at rotor rotation speed 5 min-1 and analyzed. Analysis is effected by adding 0.1 ml of extract , 0.4 ml of phosphate buffer, pH 7.5, and 0.4 ml of ferrous sulfate solution into measuring cell.
EFFECT: facilitated determination of quality of wheat germs.
