FIELD: medicine, roentgenology, magneto-resonance tomography.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with predicting diseases of inner organs and studying life-time anatomy and topography of inner organs, that is with the method for processing the pictures to detect their geometric characteristics that enable to determine the state of human organs without any operative interference. Thus, it is necessary to obtain the projections of organs' pictures onto any two or three orthogonal planes fixed against the desired organ, due to display system, one should divide projections into segments obtained due to lines being the traces of secant planes onto orthogonal planes, moreover, secant planes are divided into multitudes and within each multitude all secant planes are parallel to each other, all secant planes of one multitude are perpendicular to, at least, one orthogonal plane and secant planes of any multitude are perpendicular to secant planes of any another multitude, minimal quantity of secant planes corresponds to 3 and all they belong to different multitudes, and distances between secant planes of one multitude should be chosen at random; one should form segments of projections of two types. The innovation enables to simplify the technique for detecting the volumes of organs or neoplasms and decrease errors at their detection.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
