FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves implanting flexible balloon in intra-operative way into free abdominal cavity. After being implanted, the balloon is connected to catheter brought outside onto the anterior abdominal surface through separate puncture hole in flank zone. The balloon is connected to device for pumping air and apparatus for measuring pressure via three-way port. Air is pumped into the abdominal cavity for creating artificial reservoir to enable one to measure intra-abdominal pressure values in postoperative period.

EFFECT: high accuracy, simplicity and multiple usability; easy removal after having finished procedures.
