FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to anaesthesiology-resuscitation science, surgery, obstetrics-gynaecology, traumatology, and can be applied for indirect determining of pressure in abdominal cavity. 0.02% isotonic solution of furaciline with temperature 34-37°C in volume 25-50 ml is introduced through diversion tube of urinal with three-way stopcock connected with urinary catheter.
EFFECT: claimed method allows to create conditions for measuring intra-abdominal pressure through urinary bladder without disconnecting urinal from urinary catheter, reduces risk of inflammatory complications in case of frequent measurements of intra-abdominal pressure, increases accuracy of intra-abdominal pressure measurement.
