FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely cardiovascular surgery, and can be used to predict the risk of developing of abdominal compartment syndrome in cardiac surgery patients. Determine intra-abdominal pressure according to the level of pressure in the bladder. In the presence of intraperitoneal hypertension, measure the central venous pressure simultaneously. Assess the dynamics of indices of intra-abdominal pressure and central venous pressure when placing a weight of 5 % of body weight on the front abdominal wall. If, together with an increase in intra-abdominal pressure, there is an increase in central venous pressure, a high risk of developing abdominal compartment syndrome is predicted, regardless of the absolute values of intra-abdominal pressure and central venous pressure at the present time.
EFFECT: method allows to predict the risk of development of abdominal compartment syndrome in cardiosurgical patients due to a simultaneous assessment of intra-abdominal pressure and central venous pressure.
