FIELD: medicine; cardiology; occupational pathology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for diagnosing diastolic dysfunction of the right ventricle in workers in basic professions in the coal industry. An echocardiographic study is performed to evaluate transtricuspid flows in early and late diastole in pulsed wave Doppler mode E/A and tissue Dopplerography with determination of the ratio of early and late diastolic flows Ea/Aa, as well as the ratio of early diastolic flow in pulsed wave mode to early diastolic flow of tissue Doppler at the level of the fibrous ring from the side of the lateral wall of the RV E/Ea, calculation of the Tei index — the ratio of the sum of the time of isovolumic contraction and the time of isovolumic relaxation to the time of ejection of the RV in the tissue Doppler mode, as well as the value of the volume index of the right atrium IPP ml/m2. When the RV E/A ratio is less than or equal to 0.8, right ventricular diastolic dysfunction is diagnosed. If the E/A ratio is greater than 0.8, Ea/Aa is additionally evaluated. If the Ea/Aa ratio is greater than 0.8, the diastolic function of the right ventricle is preserved. If the Ea/Aa ratio is less than or equal to 0.8, then the following three criteria are additionally assessed: the E/Ea ratio is greater than or equal to 6, the Tei index is greater than or equal to 0.55, PPI is greater than or equal to 34 ml/m2. If these two criteria are present, right ventricular diastolic dysfunction is diagnosed. If only one criterion is present or absent, it is diagnosed that the diastolic function of the right ventricle is preserved.

EFFECT: method provides timely diagnostics of diastolic dysfunction of the right ventricle in workers in basic professions in the coal industry due to the stated diagnostic criteria.
