SUBSTANCE: method involves making frontal access to thyroid cartilage plate and forming chondroperichondral flap. The greater portion of internal cricothyroid and thyroarytenoid muscles is excised and vocal process of arytenoid cartilage is excised. Nasal septum autocartilage is brought under the frontal one-third of the vocal fold, the flexible cone with the vocal fold are taken apart. Then, autograft is placed onto external thyroid cartilage plate and sutures are fixed thereon.

EFFECT: retained vocal ligament and larynx protection function; early cannula removal; reduced risk of suture eruption through thyroid cartilage plate.
