FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: mucosal flap separation is followed by endolaryngeal excision of a middle and posterior one-third of the vocal fold, the vocal muscle, the vocal process of the arytenoid cartilage and a portion of the elastic cone. That is combined with an extralaryngeal ligation through injection needles of the operational space to the thyroid cartilage of the operated side after being wrapped with the mucosal flap.
EFFECT: method enables expanding the area of the vocal fold, reducing postoperative oedema and operative infiltration, preventing postoperative hard scar formation, and provides an acceptable phonation function.
