FIELD: hand-held tools.

SUBSTANCE: scissors have pivotally attached levers adapted for rotation, detachable knives located on levers and equipped with cutting edges, and handles connected with one another and with levers through pivot joint. Each of said knives is made in the form of disk having central opening and openings adapted for forming of pin connection and arranged symmetrically to central opening. All mentioned openings are axially aligned with respect to one another. Recess formed in each disk defines cutting edge and supporting surface extending perpendicular to cutting edge. Cutting edge is made open and is positioned in parallel with and in offset relation relative to axis of disk perpendicular to said axis extending through central opening and openings for forming pin connection. Each of said knives is fixed on lever by means of pins inserted in respective openings within knives, provided that upon bringing of handles together their cutting edges are arranged in overlapping relationship. Pivotal connection of levers for rotation thereof is provided by means of fastening member whose pivotal pin is inserted in said openings provided in each lever and adapted for forming of pin connection and in central openings of knives. Pivotal connection of handles with one another is provided by means of identical fastening members.

EFFECT: simplified construction, reduced labor intensity during scissors cutting edge resharpening and finishing operations.
