FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: shears have two handles and two blades. One blade is provided with through longitudinal slot, U-shaped in cross-section, and two ledges on both sides of this slot. One ledge is extended due to tooth made integral with it. Second ledge is flat. Its cutting edge is inclined to axis of symmetry of shears. Shears are provided with facility for adjustment of position of blades relative to each other after they are turned down on lathe. EFFECT: reduced dimensions and mass. 5 cl, 4 dwg
