FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway wheeled vehicles. Adaptive torsion spring comprises rod with lever, bar, and piston. Rectangular cross-section channel accommodating bar of the same cross-section is arranged inside said rod. Said bar is engaged via two-arm lever with railway vehicle body. Aforesaid rod has extra round-cross-section channel aligned with said rectangular channel. Piston is fitted in round-cross-section channel to reciprocate therein. Piston is provided with horizontal channels interconnected with vertical channels. Channels are made in end face surfaces in piston bosses to adjoin the ribs. Said ribs are rigidly fixed at end face surfaces. Piston rod features variable-diameter sections over its length. Piston is rigidly coupled by its rod with rectangular-cross-section bar. Round-cross-section channel is filled with working fluid.
EFFECT: higher operating efficiency.
