FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for high-temperature disinfection of cereal crop seeds, such as wheat or barley seeds, from pathogens and other undesired fungi and bacteria.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing incorporating cylindrical chamber. Upper part of cylindrical chamber is made in the form of perforated cone widening toward base. Gas distributor mounted centrally of cylindrical chamber, along perimeter thereof, is provided with ignition device. Cylindrical chamber bottom is made in the form of perforated grid. Air feeding device located in lower part of casing provides circulation of air between casing and cylindrical chamber via closed contour and perforated bottom of cylindrical chamber.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in disinfecting of cereal crop seeds from covered smut or loose smut, reduced consumption of power and improved ecology controlling of seed treatment process.
