FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of preparation of grain materials for storage and processing, and can be used in agriculture, food and processing industry, in the grain storage system, as well as their adjacent industries. The method of disinfection of grain and seeds of agricultural crops is carried out in three successive stages. At the first stage the dry cleaned grain which is moved in the stream is evenly moistened with non-heated ozonated water to complete saturation with moisture of its fruit shells. At the second stage the grain is softened to moisture penetration to the peripheral layers of its endosperm or its cotyledons while simultaneous stirring. At the third stage the grain continuously supplied in the dense layer is processed in microwave electromagnetic field, and then dried. The invention improves the intensity and uniformity of grain disinfection and efficiency of the process on quantity and specific composition of the destroyed phytopathogenic microflora including in the internal tissues of seed beetles with increased productivity.
EFFECT: environmental safety and versatility are also provided in processing the grain of various agricultural crops.
