FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural production, in particular to methods and devices for disinfection of seeds. The method includes the loading of seeds into the central chamber of the tight three-chambered bin separated from lateral chambers by the punched walls, sealing of the bin, creation of the ozone-containing gas mix (OGM) of pre-set concentration, blowing of the loaded mass of seeds by ozone-containing gas mix in the direction from one punched wall of the central chamber to another one, measurement of ozone concentration in OGS flow upstream and downstream the ozoning chamber, calculation of amount of ozone absorbed by the layer of seeds as the function of treatment time, the seeds are treated in a "thin" layer of seeds no more than 0.5 m with periodic change of the direction of OGS supply through the treated layer of seeds, the termination of ozone supply at achievement of a certain dose of the absorbed ozone, decomposition of the residual ozone in OGS in the residual ozone destructor and unloading of the treated seeds from the bin. The offered method is implemented in the device for pre-seeding treatment which contains the tight three-chambered bin, the central chamber of which is intended for loading of the treated seeds, it is fitted with loading and unloading hatches and separated by the punched walls from the lateral chambers intended for uniform distribution of the flow of ozone-containing gas along the cross-section of the central chamber, the ozonizing unit, the loading and unloading screw conveyors, pipelines for OGS supply and discharge into the tight bin, the residual ozone destructor, the unit of switching of flows of ozone-containing gas mix allowing to change the direction of blowing of the layer of seeds in the ozoning chamber, the ozone concentration measuring instrument, the computing unit, supporting the pre-set algorithm of seeds treatment are also added.

EFFECT: offered method and the seeds treatment device allows to improve efficiency and quality of ozone seed treatment.
