FIELD: processing technique of the rare elements; methods of extraction of selenium from the acid solutions.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of the processing technique of the rare elements extraction and is intended for extraction of selenium from the acid solutions, concentration of selenium in which makes 10-60 g/dm3 of Se(VI) with formation of the sediment of the elementary selenium. The method provides sedimentation of the elementary selenium from the solutions containing 10-60 g/dm3 of the selenium (VI) at the concentration of the sulfuric acid - 100-200 g/dm3 by introduction in the solution of reducing agent in the form of the hydrazine-hydrate or the hydrazine-sulfate at the temperature of 75-95°C at its surplus with respect to the stoichiometric 20-30 %. The technical result of the invention is extraction of 99.9 % of selenium in the form of the sediment of the pure elementary selenium at the optimal consumption of the hydrazine and simplification of the process.
EFFECT: the invention ensures extraction of the complete selenium in the form of the sediment of the pure elementary selenium at the optimal consumption of the hydrazine and simplification of the process.
