FIELD: radiation chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes extraction of technetium 99m from solution with mother radionuclide 99Mo. Technetium 99m is separated from extracting agent by passing the latter through chromatographic column holding aluminum oxide pre-treated with HCl solution and washed out with water to neutral pH value. Then column is rinsed with water to remove remaining extracting agent, and technetium 99m adsorbed therein is flushed with 0.9% NaCl solution. Device for producing technetium 99 m has extractor placed in shipping container and provided with two pipes for charging and discharging 99Mo solution, admitting and discharging extracting agent, and two pipes for connection to air-vacuum control system;, as well as auxiliary tanks with liquid service lines. It also has chromatographic column communicating through three-way valve with pipe for discharging extracting agent from extractor and with tank for changeable supply of water and 0.9% NaCl solution. Bottom part of chromatographic column accommodates two needles for alternate connection of collecting flasks holding extracting agent, wash water, and ready "Sodium pertechnetate, 99mTc" preparation.

EFFECT: facilitated procedure, reduced space requirement of device.
