FIELD: ammunition for small arms.
SUBSTANCE: the cartridge case has a hollow body with a neck, head with a seat for the primer, anvil and priming holes. The quantity of the priming holes makes up 3 to 6, they are uniformly positioned in circumference, made radially-inclined and connect the primer seat to the body cavity at the point of its transition to the head. The body inner wall is conjugated with the head with a radius of curvature within 1 to 3 mm.
EFFECT: enhanced muzzle velocity of the bullet and the firing range due to the enhanced area of ignition and the rate of burning of the powder charge, reduced carbonization in the bore.
