FIELD: precise tool-making industry, possible use for making rotors of spherical gyroscopes.
SUBSTANCE: rotor parts are made in form of cylindrical part being enveloped and enveloping bushing, diameters of which are determined from given formulae, and which are mated along cylindrical surface. In middle part of cylindrical part symmetrically to its axis profiled circular groove is made, which is filled with material of reinforcing element for making dominating rotor inertia moment. Parts are mated to each other by mounting enveloping bushing over cylindrical part being enveloped. Parts are welded together along cylindrical mating surface with creation of welding forces directed radially relatively to axis of parts. Then by mechanical processing, shaping of spherical surface of rotor is performed with provision of its symmetry relatively to reinforcing element. Further, sphere is finalized and rotor is balanced.
EFFECT: expanded technological capabilities of method, increased precision of produced rotor.
