FIELD: drying.
SUBSTANCE: drying drum for planishing machine tool comprises infrared lamps arranged in uniform rows on the planks that are set in the guides through the port in the drum plug. The guides are secured to the sides of the hexahedral casing of the heater. The lamps are connected with the electric wires and are mounted with a spaced relation one with respect to the other. The space between the lamps is less than the diameter of their bulbs. The hexahedral casing of the heater that is coaxial to the drum is rigidly connected with its pins mounted on the heat-resistant slide bearings in the drum pins.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability, serviceability, and efficiency.
