FIELD: technology for drying long materials, method for electric heating of external surface of drying drum of sizing machine, for materials such as: moist textile cloth, loom beam after sizing, paper, cloth, and also for heating film materials in contact with or enveloping rotating cylindrical surfaces and for drying textile goods.
SUBSTANCE: in the method the drum is made two-layered, turning external layer into electric heater, formed by spiral made of flat electro-conductive ribbon. Spiral coils are tightly pressed to one another, and by ends through electro-trolley and electric power parameter regulator it is connected to electric network. Electro-trolley is positioned inside the drum, and transformer is composed of voltage auto-regulator with spiral temperature indicator and using frequency auto-regulator with indicator of electro-current in the spiral, with additional electric capacity included into its power circuit preliminarily. Using electromagnetic resonance and automatically changing frequency and voltage of spiral electro-power, its given temperature is continuously maintained.
EFFECT: abolished structural and technological complexity of drum manufacture and assembly, power consumption of heating reduced in dozens of times.
