FIELD: weight-measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method for weighing moving railroad object includes measuring current value of force, affecting the rail through wheels of railroad object being weighed. In accordance to invention, weighing is performed during movement of railroad object being moved along uncut rails of standard length, and also current value of force is measured, acting through wheels of railroad object being weighed, on one point of each rail, with weight-measuring sensor mounted at same vertical with point of rail, during passage of wheels of railroad object being weighed over point of rail, maximums of force values are recorded, values of all recorded maximums of force values are added together.

EFFECT: increased reliability of railroad track, lower laboriousness of realization of weighing method, increased weighing precision, expanded operation capacity and decreased material costs during realization of proposed method.
