FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises applying static and periodic pulse load to the deforming tool perpendicular to the surface to be worked by means of striker and waveguide. The striker and waveguide are made of rods of the same diameter. The deforming tool is mounted with a space at the free end of the waveguide by means of at least three flat springs arranged uniformly over periphery and inclined to the longitudinal axis of the waveguide at an acute angle. The springs are made for permitting reciprocation of the deforming tool with respect to the longitudinal axis of the waveguide under loading. The angle of rotation of the deforming tool is controlled by means of the stop screw in the waveguide. The waveguide is locked against rotation around its axis with the stud.
