FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aero-mechanical measurements and can be used for measurement of component vectors of aerodynamic force and moment, acting on aircraft models in the wind tunnel. Five-component strain-gage weigher is built according to 3-beam circuit, connected to control unit and comprises a measuring head, shank, elastic beams and resistance strain gauges, length of beams L is defined relative to the height H of the central beam in the ratio L/H≤3, measuring head of the strain-gage weigher is attached in cantilever to the control unit, and the shank is fixed in a collet clamp, mounted on a wing, measurement of aerodynamic force and moment vectors (X, Y, Mx, My and Mz) of full aerodynamic force, acting in the center of pressure aileron, is carried out relative to the pressure center of strain-gage weigher located in the middle of elastic beams, by means of resistance strain gauges.
EFFECT: measurement of aerodynamic force and moment component vectors acting on aircraft models in the wind tunnel.
