FIELD: railway transport; freight cars.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical part of freight car brakes. Proposed brake beam of freight car bogie is installed on side frames of bogie by means of suspensions of brake shoe holders. Shoes are secured on end of brake beam. Brake beam includes channel beam, cross stay, spacer, end pieces, inserts and clamps. Channel beam of brake beam and shoes of brake holders are interconnected by screw joints. Screw joint consists of rod and stops rigidly secured on channel beam of brake beam and shoe of brake holder. One end part of rod is provided with thread getting into inner thread of support rigidly secured on brake beam and provided with shank. Second end part of rod is cylindrical with reset place adjoining the stop secured on shoe and is fixed from axial displacement by means of washer with pin.

EFFECT: possibility of quick re-adjustment of mechanical part of bogie brakes, when change of track width gauge is required, without demounting of mechanical part of bogie brakes.
