FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, in particular to the vehicle brake equipment of railway vehicles. Brake system of a freight car truck contains four brake units, each of which is equipped with a brake cylinder with an integrated auto regulator, brake linings and a tong-shaped mechanism that transmits force from the brake cylinder rod to the brake linings. On each wheel pair there are two brake discs and brake units, which are fixed to the transverse beam of the stamp-welded frame by means of brackets.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of braking freight cars is achieved.
