FIELD: processes for working surfaces of silver articles, possibly in machine engineering, instrument making and jewelry industry branch.
SUBSTANCE: electrolyte contains, g/l: potassium or sodium thiocyanate, 300 - 400; glycerin, 20 - 40; ethyl alcohol, 1.7 - 6.7; Captax, 0.5 - 1.5, water - up to 1 l. Such electrolyte is nontoxic and it allows enhance article resistance to tarnishing of their surface.
EFFECT: reduced roughness degree, improved reflection capability, increased resistance to tarnishing of silver article surfaces.
