SUBSTANCE: the present innovation refers to treating ocular diseases associated with weakened accommodation, pseudomyopia, in particular. The method deals with cycloplegic ocular treatment with medicinal preparation of either prolonged or short-term action, such as, for example, atropin or cyclin. Then, additionally, 8 min - 10 d after cycloplegic treatment one should apply a soft contact lens, its working area is designed out of nontransparent material with optically transparent part along the center of working area being of 1.0-5.0 mm diameter. The lens should be used during the whole day, only for nocturnal period it should be removed, during 1 mo-long term. The innovation provides stable curative result due to diaphragming effect, that is: it removes excessive insulation occurred at mydriasis, increases definition depth of optic ocular system and creates smooth mode for accommodation.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
